West Marin 4 was created using pigments sourced from Northern California, a place that became a second home to Jessyjo. The materials include sandstone, purple mussel shells, and charcoal, all gathered from the coast where she spent much of her time camping and surfing.

With sandstone as the dominant pigment, West Marin 4 radiates a sense of softness and lightness, inviting the viewer to experience a moment of tranquility. It evokes the gentle flow of water over sand, soothing and calm, like the tide lapping at the shore.
