Marketing Coordinator

The Opportunity 

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated individual based at our Mt Hawthorn Showroom and Warehouse.

The Company 

Loam Australia specialises in authentic modern furniture and homewares, designed for contemporary Australian lifestyles and landscapes. With a retail showroom in Claremont and display apartments across multiple projects in Perth, Loam provides a platform that elevates Australian design both nationally and internationally. Our commitment extends beyond our curated collection of authentic Australian and international brands to include staging and styling services for both commercial and residential projects, further enhancing spaces.

The Role

• A permanent position, with the option of being either part time 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) or full time 1 FTE (5 days per week)
• Reporting to the Business Development Manager
• In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for developing and executing key marketing and advertising strategies to keep our clients up to date on product offering, initiatives, milestones, and people across the businesses.
• A key focus will be on driving Brand Awareness and Social media presence through sharing of the existing Loam collection, and new product releases OR the latest Loam styled apartment via posts and stories
• You will utilise your creative graphic design skills to create up to date content following its contemporary design elements and style. This may include taking photos of new products or the latest apartment styling.
• You will update The Loam Australia website by ensuring that all products are uploaded, and the website accurately reflects stock in store and season promotions are reflected.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize customer experience
• Advertising, EDMs, tracking of marketing activities, and more. It is a fast paced, multi-faceted marketing role for the right person!

Skills and Experience 

• Bachelor or Diploma in Marketing (or equivalent experience)
• + 3 years in Marketing Coordinator role or similar
• E Commerce experience
• EDM experience
• WordPress or similar with the ability to adapt to new platforms.
• Proficiency in Website management and maintenance.
• Graphic Design – using In Design or similar.
• Photography experience – desirable
• Exceptional organisation and coordination skills.
• Written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Task and time measurement and management.
• Adaptable and Flexible
