Pilbara 1

Pilbara 1 was painted using earth collected from the Pilbara, between Karratha and Broome. The rich brown and oranges are due to the high level of iron oxide found in the earth of that area.

The powerful composition is symbolic of the concentration of minerals and resources of the North West region.
